Meet Mishka!Mishka is a friendly, affectionate girl who absolutely loves being around her people. She’s the kind of dog who will gently lean into you for attention or tap you with her paw to ask for more love—and once you start, she’s all in for the cuddles!She’s social and welcoming with people, including strangers, though her enthusiasm can sometimes come out in a bit of jumpiness, so supervision around younger children is recommended. Overall, she has a warm, easygoing nature and enjoys being part of the action.Mishka enjoys her daily walks and exploring the world through her nose. She can get a little overexcited when passing other dogs or people and may pull or react on leash, but she’s showing lots of potential with guidance and consistency. At home, she’s quite mellow and happy to relax near her humans after getting her exercise.She’s still learning the basics—she’s picking up “sit” and getting used to routine, but will need continued training, especially with recall and leash manners. She’s also a bit of a curious opportunist in the kitchen, so counters and garbage should stay off-limits for now.Mishka could live with another dog, but would do best with one that can handle her sometimes pushy play style and help show her the ropes. Due to her prey drive, a home without small animals would be the safest fit.Her ideal home would be one that can offer her patience, structure, and continued training, along with space to explore and burn off energy. In return, Mishka will bring lots of personality, affection, and loyal companionship to her forever family.Mishka was born approximately August 2022 and is a large dog.Her adoption fee is $475.
