Hi, I’m Harnette I’m a high-energy, affectionate girl who bonds closely with my person. With my foster, I’ve been loving, sweet, and a great sleeper—I happily curl up on the floor in the bedroom and wait patiently for the day to begin. I enjoy car rides (I’ll even jump right in!) and I love toys, treats, and being near my people.I’m house-trained, leash-trained, crate-trained, and I respond well to my name—especially on a long lead. I’m still working on consistency with commands like sit and stay, but I’m eager and food motivated, which makes training rewarding.I’ve done well meeting other dogs with proper introductions, including participating in a pack walk and calmly settling after an initial adjustment period. I do have a high energy level and currently enjoy a long daily walk, but I would likely thrive with even more activity and enrichment.It’s important to know that I can be reactive in certain situations. I have lunged and barked at a familiar adult in the home, and I can be fence reactive. Because of this, I would do best in an experienced, adult-only home where introductions are structured and leadership is clear. I’m not suited for adoption events or busy environments.My ideal home would have people around more often than not, a yard to play in, and guardians who are confident, calm, and comfortable continuing my training.
